Round 2 of the NRL
The 2nd round of action is also when teams start to click that little bit more as new set plays bed in, new partnerships start to develop and teams can build on the confidence form good results in the early round.
On the flip side of that is of course the fact that if a team comes into the season cold and struggle in the first weekend of matches, they can already be under pressure by this round as in a competition as competitive as the NRL, as soon as you start getting into a losing run and a loss of confidence, you can all but right of the season.
The 2nd round of matches is also the first home match for the majority of teams who played away from home in the season opener so this is the chance for home fans to first get behind there team and for the players to excites there supporters for what tends to be a bumper round of crowds.
