Round 3 of the NRL

No matter how much preparation a team has going into a new season, the opening round or two can always be clunky and the more the players try new things, the more things can go wrong but by the time the 3rd round comes around, new partnerships have had time to bed in and new attacking and defensive set ups have had time to bed in.

That can often mean the 3rd round is when teams really start to settle in to the new season and it is often when the quality of the top teams and players starts to shine through.

By the time the 3rd round of the season comes around, the coaches have had the chance to see the strengths and weaknesses of their own team and to try and find a solution to strengthen their weaknesses and to take advantage of their strengths and of course they have also had the chance t look at the other teams and see what their strengths and weaknesses have been in the opening couple of rounds.
