NRL Round 10 2020
The Sydney Roosters return ‘home’ to take on the Canberra Raiders in a battle between 2 of the most fancied teams in the competition but whilst the hosts are going well and come into this one full of confidence, the Raiders are struggling for form and have been hit by numerous injuries to star men including the influential John Bateman.
With that in mind we are backing the Roosters for the win but there can be no denying that if it clicks for the Raiders, they can and do defeat anybody on their day.
Prediction: Sydney Roosters by 10
Whilst the Storm may still be a long way from home, they are showing no signs of that getting to them and that will spell danger for the Titans.
The Gold Coast have shown moments of improvement but they still cannot compete for the full 80 minutes and against a team such as the Storm, that means you cannot win.
Prediction: Melbourne Storm by 14
Whilst Brisbane come into this one on the back of a win and the Tigers on the back of a loss, it is the Broncos who are under-pressure for the win as they struggle to perform in the new NRL.
Wests need to get back to winning ways to keep their top 8 push going and they certainly have more players in form than Brisbane and are playing with more freedom, so we can see them having too much for the Broncos.
Prediction: Wests Tigers by 8
2 of the most under-performing teams in the NRL meet in what will likely be a scrappy game throughout but after a tough week that has seen the Bulldogs head coach resign, just what affect will that have on the Doggies?
Unfortunately for the Dogs, the Dragons got a massive boost last time out with a big win over Manly and that extra confidence should be all that they need to create chances and in a game we expect to be tight, it will be the hosts who will likely come out on top.
Prediction: St George Illawarra Dragons by 10
6th place meets 5th place in what could be a great match up between 2 exciting teams but whilst the Knights come into this one on the back of a loss, the Rabbitohs are full of confidence after a good win over the Tigers and in a game we expect to be every bit as tight as their league positions, that extra confidence could prove the difference.
Prediction: South Sydney Rabbitohs by 6
The Sea Eagles will need to show a reaction to last weeks poor performance but the last team you want to come up against at the moment in the free-flowing Eels.
Starting the round top of the table, the Eels are full of confidence and are scoring for fun and that attacking threat should prove too much for the stuttering Sea Eagles who will be looking to kick start their faltering season with a upset win.
Prediction: Parramatta Eels by 10
Both teams come into this one on the back of losses but whilst the Warriors did show some grit in there loss against the Gold Coast, the Sharkies just seemed to have no answers in defence against Penrith.
With both teams struggling for form, the extra attacking threats of the Sharkies will likely prove the difference in what could be a high scoring game.
Prediction: Cronulla Sharks by 10
The high flying Panthers will be looking to make another statement after their huge win over Cronulla last week and sadly for the Cowboys, this could be another chance to marvel at the great attacking flair of the hosts.
Prediction: Penrith Panthers by 10
