Warrington Wolves v Toronto Wolfpack Preview
The Warrington Wolves take on the Toronto Wolfpack pack in a battles of the Wolves that will give us a great insight into the outcome of both of these 2 teams’ seasons going forward.
Warrington are a club that expects to be winning trophies and to be battling it out for top spot in the Super League table and if they are to go on and win silverware, this is exactly the sort of match that they not only need to win but that they need to build form and confidence in.
For the Wolfpack to have a successful or not season will likely rely on how well they do across the Atlantic in there Toronto home games.
With that said, if they can pick up any big wins on this side of the pond, that could really shape things for them.
Form
Warrington have played 3 and lost 2 of those games but whilst they impressed in defeat at Wigan, they struggled in tough conditions in a losing effort at Wakefield last time out.
The Wolfpack have found the going tough since stepping up into Super League and they have yet to pick up a win but they have managed to open the try scoring in every game so far which is at least giving them something to build on in matches.
Team News
Warrington make no changes for this one.
Toronto bring in 2 and lose one to make a 20 man squad this week. Sonny Bill Williams returns from a trip back home whilst France star Tony Gigot has joined on trial. James Cunningham is injured.
Stadium
The Halliwell Jones Stadium is the home of the Warrington Wolves and for many it is the perfect template for what makes a fantastic Rugby League stadium.
The crowd is close to the action and with a mix of seating standing and corporate, the ground helps to create a great atmosphere for every match.
Whilst the Wolfpack won’t have many fans in attendance, the ones that do follow them around the UK have shown themselves to be a great addition to the league.
Warrington Wolves v Toronto Wolfpack Prediction
Here at RLBet, we give out predict for who we think will win and also what we think the winning margin will be but don’t forget that the unpredictable nature of the Super League, this should only be seen as our view.
Prediction
Despite their loss last time out at Wakey, we can only see a home win in this one. Warrington simply have more quality across the park and it is they who have players capable of winning matches in what we expect will be a tight game for the first 50-60 minutes.
