NRL Round 12 2020
The 11th placed St George take on the 10th placed South Sydney in a Sydney derby that both will be looking to build on improved performances last time out.
Whilst both come into this one on the back of losses, there were enough signs last week for both to be confidence ahead of this one but as we head into must win territory for both sides, the pressure will be one and South will be hoping that by having the more experience of big games, they will have to edge in what will likely be a close game throughout.
Prediction: South Sydney Rabbitohs by 8
The struggling Warriors head to the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground just simply hoping to be competitive but up against a Tigers team full of attacking flair, it will likely be another tough match up for New Zealand who will just be wanting to see the end of this season and to get back home.
Prediction: Wests Tigers by 8
The Broncos suffered another huge defeat last time out and are no simply looking for the season to end whilst Cronulla now that they have to keep winning ahead of a finals place and that should make for a comfortable away win.
Prediction: Cronulla Sharks by 12
A team battling out for the title host a team simply looking to avoid the wooden spoon so it is no surprise that we are going to back the title chasing Roosters for the win.
Prediction: Sydney Roosters by 16
Whilst the Cowboys have the quality to defeat anybody on their day, those days have been few and far between this season.
Up against a Canberra side that know that they simply have to keep winning to keep alive their title hopes, we expect an ultimately comfortably win for the Raiders after a tough opening 40 minutes.
Prediction: Canberra Raiders by 10
Manly have shown time and time again this season that on their day, they can be a challenge for any team so despite starting the round top of the table, the away side will know that they have to be at their very best.
This could easily be the tie of the round and a must watch for fans of Rugby and with the hosts knowing that they have to win to keep alive their hope of a finals place, we are going to back a shock win in this one for the team from the northern beaches.
Prediction: Manly Sea Eagles by 8
The struggling Doggies could be in for a tough afternoon once more as they welcome the in form Eels and will be no surprise that we are going to back Parra for a comfortable win in this Sydney derby.
Prediction: Parramatta Eels by 14
Another match that should be a great watch as the 2nd placed Storm take on the 6th placed Knights but whilst Newcastle have the quality to defeat anybody, they have started to show that there defence isn’t perhaps up to the very best and that includes the Storm who continue to excel despite been stranded away from home.
Prediction: Melbourne Storm by 8
