Hull Kingston Rovers v Wakefield Trinity Preview
Hull Kingston Rovers welcome Wakefield Trinity over form West Yorkshire to East Hull for this Yorkshire derby from the Super League.
The Red and White side of Hull and Wakey are 2 of those sides that on their day they can be a challenge for anybody but they are also two teams who struggle for consistency, not just from 1 game to the next but throughout the 80 minutes of action.
That makes matches featuring both of these 2 sides difficult to predict but when the 2 sides meet each other it becomes that extra bit harder.
The 2 clubs are very similar in that a good run of form coupled with some confidence can see them push on up the table towards the play-off mix but a bad run of form and a few injuries can see them deep in the scrap to avoid the drop.
That makes matches between the 2 sides hugely important as it could is some ways make or break there season or at the least give them some breathing room for if things take a turn for the worse.
Whenever Hull KR take on Wakefield Trinity you can never be sure of the result, either before the game and more often than not during the 80 minutes of action itself.

Stadium
Craven Park, or New Craven Park is located in East Hull features a mix of the new and old, with standing and seating and with some modern facilities but with some parts that need a big upgrade.
Part of the ground only opens when near neighbours Hull FC are in town as the stand is so far from the action but with a large stand running down the touchline that is all standing, the Rovers fans are loud and near to the action.
That makes for a great atmosphere and one that is always a benefit to the home players who will be looking to take advantage in this match up against Wakefield Trinity.
Hull Kingston Rovers v Wakefield Trinity Prediction
Hull KR and Wakefield Trinity have given us some great matches down the years and this one could easily be up their as well. Both teams have exciting players but perhaps the best aspect for neutrals is that both teams are so unpredictable.
In one moment you may get a piece of magic that will make the highlight reels for years to come but then in the next minute you may get a mistake that wouldn’t be out of place in a school game.
Here at RLBet, we give out predict for who we think will win and also what we think the winning margin will be but don’t forget that the unpredictable nature of the Super League, this should only be seen as our view.

History
These two have not been giants of the sport in Yorkshire for much of their history but they have both enjoyed long spells at the top of the game at the national level.
That fact was highlighted in the 1967-68 season when the 2 met face to face in the Rugby League Football Championship Division One title decider in what was the earlier version of the Super League Grand Final.
On that occasion it was Trinity who came away with the title and the glory with a 17 points to 10 win over Rovers.
The 2 sides have also enjoyed lots of success on the local level, with both having good seasons in 1974-75 which culminated in them meeting in the Yorkshire Cup final where Rovers ran out 16-13 winners in a closely fought battle held at Headingley Stadium in Leeds.
