New Zealand v Lebanon Preview

The global heavyweights of the New Zealand Kiwis take on the regional powerhouse of Lebanon in a match that the Cedars will be looking to pull off one of the biggest shocks in international Rugby League history.

That is the challenge that the Cedars face but for a country who have had to qualify amidst the danger of war at home and you have a team who will not be timid in their approach.

That should set this one up to be a great watch as despite having a number of relatively unknown players amongst their ranks, there is lots of quality and lots of experience in the ranks of the Lebanese squad.

They will need all of that quality to live up to expectation in this game however as they take on a new Zealand squad who not only have one of the most star-studded teams in world rugby but they are also extra motivated after the disaster of their home performances at the last RLWC.
