Wakefield Trinity v Hull KR Preview
Wakefield Trinity welcome Hull Kingston Rovers from East Yorkshire to West Yorkshire for a match that both teams will be targeting for the win and that should set it up for a great 80 minutes of action.
Both Wakey and the Robins have lots of quality in there squads but both struggle with squad depth and that can lead to injuries and a loss of form and confidence.
With things so tight between the majority of Super League clubs, wins against the teams of a similar standard to yourself, such as these 2, can really make or break a season for both sides and that adds lots of intrigue to this game.

Stadium
Belle Vue Stadium is the long term home ground of Wakefield but it is fair to say that it is far past its best and it is now a blight on the game in the Northern Hemisphere.
Unfortunately any atmosphere that is create is often lost due to the open nature of the stands and all in all it is quite a depressing place to watch a game of rugby take place but thankfully the players have the quality to lighten up anybody’s mood and to give us all great action.

History
These 2 clubs are amongst the most historic in the sport and with both based in the heartland county of Yorkshire, it is no surprise that these 2 have been involved in some of the biggest matches in the sport.
One of the biggest matches in both teams history came when they face doff in the 1967-68 Rugby Football League Championship First Division final to decide on the champions of England.
On that occasion it was Trinity who picked up the title when they defeated Hull KR by 17 points to 10.
The 2 sides have also met in big matches at the county level including the 1974-75 Yorkshire Cup final when the Robins defeated Wakey 16-13 at Headingley Stadium in Leeds.
