Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves

The Wigan Warriors meet the Warrington Wolves at the 2019 Magic Weekend in the 16th round of the 2019 Super League season and the great news for all rugby fans is that you can watch all of the action live online via our Super League live streaming partners.

Both of these 2 giants of the Super League come into this game on the back of disappointing losses last time out, with Warrington losing at home to Hull FC and with Wigan losing in the Camp Nou to the Dragons but on the plus side, both sides get the chance to avenge those losses on the big stage at Anfield.

The Wolves start the round in 2nd place but their recent dip in form has seen them fall 6 points behind Saints in the race for the League Leaders Shield.

Wigan on the other hand come into the round in 8th place and as close to bottom spot as they are the play-offs, so they need to put their loss in the Camp Nou, and their recent loss in the cup to Wire, behind them.

Wigan have won 3 of their last 5 matches but they have now lost their last 2, including against Warrington in the cup.

Warrington have won 4 of their last 5 but lost last time out at home to Hull FC.

Team News

Wigan make 3 changes from their loss against the Dragons with Jake Shorrocks, Oliver Partington and Jarrod Sammut all coming in to replace Romain Navarrete, Liam Marshall and Sam Powell.

Warrington make 4 changes as injuries start to hit them. Tom Lineham, Harvey Livett, Matt Davis & Jake Mamo all come in with Ryan Atkins, Ben Westwood, Lama Tasi and Stefan Ratchford missing out.

These 2 gave up a highly entertaining game in the cup a couple of weeks back that was in the balance throughout and we expect much of the same in this one.

Warrington will be hit hard by the loss of Ratchford but a lot of this game will depend on how much the Nou Camp game took out of Wigan.

The Warriors have been improving almost game on game over the last couple of weeks whilst Warrington have had a couple of matches well below par recently but on this big stage, we expect them to be towards there best and that should see them have far too much for the Warriors.
