Wests Tigers vs Canberra Raiders

The Wests Tigers welcome the Canberra Raiders for this all important round 13 match up from the NRL and the great news for fans of both teams is that you can watch all of the action live online via our NRL live streaming partners.

The Tigers have been up and down all season long so it is no surprise to see them start the round just outside of the top 8 but such is the closeness of the NRL table, a win could see them move level on points with Newcastle in 5th.

The home side will know that they will have to be at their best to have any chance against a Canberra side who turned around their dip in form and who looked so much stronger with John Bateman back in their side.

Form

Wests have won just 1 of their last 4 and they have lost each of their last 2.

The Raiders ended a 3 match losing run last time out with a narrow win over the Cowboys.

Team News

Mbye returns from origin duty to take over at fullback so Thompson goes back to the wing and Nofoaluma drops out.

Canberra name Wighton after Origin duty but Sezer drops out. Cotric is back, so Kris drops into the reserve. Jordan Rapana is back on the wing.

Prediction

This is a tough game to predict as both teams have been so inconsistent this season but whilst both have struggled in recent weeks, the Raiders have managed to stay relatively strong in defence so we are going to back them for the win, as whist Wests are good going forward, Wests do struggle at the best.
