Toronto Wolfpack v Featherstone Rovers

The Toronto Wolfpack welcome the Featherstone Rovers for this winner takes all match up from the RFL Championship and the great news for fans of both teams and for rugby fans in general is that you can watch all of the action live online via our Championship live streaming partners.

Toronto have been head and shoulders above the rest of the Championship this season but Fev Rovers are ending the season in incredible form and full of confidence.

They went over the channel to France last weekend and came away with a big win over Toulouse which has to be the perfect preparation for heading over the Atlantic to take on the Wolfpack.

Toronto are of course a big step up as they are a full time team full of Super League and NRL experience but Fev have almost half of their squad on the books of the Leeds Rhinos with many of them Super League title winners.

The home side will also have last years shock loss in the Million Pound Game against London fresh in their memories.

With a place in the Super League on the line for Featherstone and a potential place in the Super League on the line for Toronto, the nerves will certainly be on show and despite both sides been in great form, there will likely be mistakes, with the winner been the team that can handle the pressure of occasion on the day.

Team News

Featherstone make just the 1 change for this one with Danny Maskill replacing Josh Walters, who is injured.

Prediction

Whilst Fev have shown already that they can take on teams as an underdogs and come away with the win, this will likely be one game too many.

Last weekends win over Toulouse will be a huge boost for them heading into to this one but aside form 1 or 2 of their Leeds Rhinos players, Toronto arguably have the more quality across the board and certainly the more experience of these types of games.

We do expect Fev to take the game to Toronto and with the away side having nothing to lose, they will prove a stubborn opponent for the Wolfpack with a record 10,000 crowd set to be in attendance, we are backing Toronto for the win.
