Sydney Roosters vs Brisbane Broncos

The Sydney Roosters take on the Brisbane Broncos in a highly anticipated match up form the NRL and the great news for all Rugby League fans is that you can watch all of the action live online via our NRL live streaming partners.

Both of these 2 giants of world rugby are all set for the end of season finals but whilst the Broncos have just scraped over the line, the Roosters had enjoyed a great season and go into this penultimate round in 2nd place but level on points with the Storm at the top.

That means that only a win will do for the home side as they need to improve their points difference and keep pace with Melbourne if they are to pick up a Minor Premiership.

The Roosters have lost just 1 of their last 6 matches but that 1 loss did come at the Raiders.

The Broncos have won 3 of their last 5 but they have lost their last 2 on the road.

Team News

The Roosters welcome back Nathan Keary in the halves so Matterson drops to the bench with O’Sullivan goes into reserve. JWH has an outside chance of returning.

Lodge returns to prop for Brisbane in place of Ofahengaue with Staggs replacing Mago on the bench.

Whilst both teas have undoubted quality, only the Roosters have the consistency needed to win big game sat the moment.

Whilst we certainly wouldn’t be shocked a win for Brisbane, we can only see a home win.

Both teams play a similar style but the Roosters are just doing it better at the moment and with a Minor Premiership on the line for the Chucks, that should be all of the motivation they need to get them over the line in what should be an entertaining match up.
