St Helens vs Salford Red Devils

St Helens take on the Salford Red Devils in the 15th round of the 2019 Super League season and in what looks set t be an attractive game, the good news for fans is that you can watch all of the action live online via our Super league live streaming partners.

St Helens have been the dominant force throughout the 2019 season to date but for many it has been the Red Devils who have grabbed the headlines as they continue to over-perform and when they are on form, they are one of the most attractive sides to watch.

Unfortunately for away fans, the Red Vee have the best attack and the best defence in the league so even if they are at their best, it may very well not be enough.

Whilst Saints lead the way in the league, Salford head into the round in 6th but just 2 points behind Wakey in 3rd.

Form

St Helens have now won each of their last 6 matches and they have lost just 1 game all season long.

Salford have won 3 of their last 4 league matches and they have won their last 2 on the road including at Warrington.

Team News

Saints make 2 changes for this one with James Bentley and Jack Welsby replacing James Roby and Danny Richardson.

Salford name Pauli Pauli after he joined on loan from Wakefield. He is joined by Logan Tomkins.

Prediction

Whilst Salford have shown that they can defeat anybody on their day, Salford will need to be at their very best whilst Saint swill have to let their standards slip and with little sign of that, it is almost impossible to back against the hosts.

The lack of James Roby will always hit Saints but they simply have too much quality and to many top names in top form for Salford although we do expect a close game for the opening 40-50 minutes and for an entertaining game throughout.
