North Queensland Cowboys vs Manly Sea Eagles

The North Queensland Cowboys welcome the Manly Sea Eagles for this round 13 match up from the 2019 NRL season and the great news for fans is that you can watch all of the action live online via our NRL live streaming partners.

The Cowboys start the round in the best form of their season and on the cusp of the top 8. With things so fractured at this time of the season, a team success or failure can depend on how they get through the Origin period so both teams will be going all out for the win.

Unfortunately for Manly, they come into the game in poor form and with a point to prove.

Form

North Queensland have won 4 of their last 5 matches including each of their last 3.

Manly have lost 3 of their last 4 including both of their last 2.

Team News

The Cowboys name both Morgan and McGuire after Origin, with Morgan set to move to full back to replace Jordan Kahu who is injured. Both Gideon Gela-Mosby and Kurt Baptiste are missing.

Tom Trbojevic is back for Manly but his brother Jake and Daly Cherry-Evans are only named in reserve after Origin duty.

Suli is back at centre so Garrick goes to the wing with Jack Gosiewski at loose forward.

Prediction

This is a tough match to predict as both teams have been so inconsistent this season.

It will be interesting to see how the Manly run on side changes and if they paly either of their returning Origin stars.

With so much disruption at this time of the season, it is the fine margins that win and lose games and you have to say that the Cowboys have been the stronger in defence and in tight games, that tends to win matches.
