Melbourne Storm vs Sydney Roosters

The Melbourne Storm welcome the Sydney Roosters to AAMI Park for this highly anticipated blockbuster match up from the 6th round of the 2019 NRL season and the great news for fans of both teams and for rugby fans in general is that you can watch all of the action live online via our NRL live streaming partners.

These 2 giants of the Australian game are amongst the favourites to reach the final once again and we could be all set for a repeat of last year’s final as heading into this round of matches the Storm are top of the table, with the Roosters in 2nd.

The Storm will be going all out for revenge after losing in that Grand Final but they will also know that a win will see them move clear of a huge rival whilst a loss could see a whole gaggle of teams catch them.

Form

Melbourne have started the new season with 5 wins from 5 matches whilst the Roosters have won 4 and lost 1 but they have now won each of their last 4.

Team News

The Storm make just the 1 change with Vunivalu replacing Sandor Earl.

Jared Waerea-Hargreaves returns for the Chucks, so Tetevano goes to loose forward with Liu dropping out.

Prediction

Whilst it is always difficult to back against the Roosters it is even harder to back against the Storm, especially at AAMI Park where they are always so dominant.

The Storm have looked unflappable this season and whilst we expect this to be close throughout, that will paly into the hands of the Storm who are the kings of controlling games.
