Melbourne Storm v Parramatta Eels

The Melbourne Storm welcome the Parramatta Eels down to Victoria for this must win play-offs game from the NRL and the great news for all rugby fans is that you can watch all of the action live online via our NRL live streaming partners.

The Storm were looking like the dominant side in the NRL, along with the Roosters, but whilst the Chucks lived up to that title, Melbourne looked a shadow of themselves last time out against Canberra were the Green Machine snatch a late win at AAMI Park.

That will give some hope to a Parramatta side who have struggled against Melbourne this season but who have also shown that on their day, they are a match for anybody.

Melbourne do just what Melbourne do and that is play a highly organised and highly structured game whilst the Eels are much stronger playing off the cuff rugby and that sets this match up to be a fascinating one and one that will not only be difficult to predict but one that will be entertaining to watch.

Both teams have won 3 of their last 5 outings but whilst the Storm lost last time out, the eels have now won there last 2.

Team News

Melbourne are unchanged.

Kane Evans returns for the Eels so Dan Alvaro drops to the bench and Ray Stone misses out on selection.

As with all NRL finals match ups this is a tough one to predict especially with the differing styles on offer.

If Parra can get an early lead and open the game up, it will play into their hands and we could be set for a second shock in a week in Victoria but we expect Melbourne to show a reaction to last week and to take control of the game.
