Melbourne Storm v Gold Coast Titans

The Melbourne Storm welcome the Gold Coast Titans to the impressive AAMI Park in Melbourne for this round 10 match up from the NRL and the great news for fans is that you can watch all of the action live online via our NRL live streaming partners.

The Storm go into every season as one of the favourites for the title and this season is no different but it has been an up and down start for the Storm who although they go into this round in 4th place, they are level on points with the Knights in 10th.

That just highlights the importance of a win for the home side but despite their struggles, the Titans have shown that they can go to the biggest teams and come away with the points.

The Titans start the round in 13th place and struggling for form but they have the talent to trouble every team just so long as they play to their full capability and paly at 100% for the full 80 minutes- so thing which continues to be a big issue.

Form

The Storm have won 3 of their last 5 matches but they did lose there big battle of the top 2 against St George last time out.

At home they have won all of their games this season aside form an opening round loss to the Tigers.

The Titans have lost each of their last 4 matches and they have won just 1 game on the road this season but that was at the Broncos.

Team News

Scott returns for the Storm in the centres, with Olam making way. Finucane starts afters dropping to the bench late on last week so Kenny Bromwich starts on the bench.

The Titans make a number of changes as they look to end their losing run with Cartwright dropping to the bench and Brimson going into the halves.

Hurrell and Elliot drop out of the starting squad with Copley and Lee replacing them. Wallace replaces the injured Arrow at loose so James goes to the front row and Matthews into the back row.

Prediction

Whilst the Titans coaching staff will be hoping the changes have the effect of showing the Titans players that it is now time to start performing, it is difficult to see anything other than a comfortable home win.

Even if the Titans were in good form, the Storm would still be the favourites due to the quality that they have but with the Titans struggling so badly, the Storm should dominate from start to finish.
