Melbourne Storm v Brisbane Broncos

The Melbourne Storm dominated the regular part of the season and now they are just 1 game away from the NRL Grand Final, but standing in their way are the Brisbane Broncos in what is set to be a must watch match. Don’t forget that is exactly what you can do online via our live streaming partners.

This is a match up that would have graced the final itself as 2 of the most iconic teams of the NRL go head to head from what will be a packed AAMI Park.

As you would expect from this stage of the season both teams are in great form and both teams are packed with international superstars. The match also sees 2 of the most successful coaches in the history of the game go head to head and perhaps most importantly for game of this magnitude, it is a match that either team could win.

Melbourne do have the advantage of not only been at home for this one but also in having a weekend off last week whilst the Broncos had to battle past the Panthers.

The Storm have now won each of their last 8 matches and have won their last 5 at AAMI Park.

The Broncos have only won 2 of their last 4 matches but one of those was a narrow loss to the Roster sin the first round of the finals.

Team News

The Storm are unchanged for this one.

Brisbane welcome back Darius Boyd in the number 1 jersey. Nikorima moves into the halves with Benji Marsahll on the bench.

Corey Oates is named on the wing with Pangai Junior back, both Mead & Arrow drop out.

With so much quality on both sides this is one of those matches that could easily go either way with extra time a distinct possibility.

Melbourne will fancy their chance at home and with them going into this game fully rested, we are going to back them for the win.

Melbourne have been the more constant this season and although the Broncos will be better with Boyd back ,their has to be question marks about his fitness in such a crucial game.

Our Prediction: Melbourne Storm by 4
