London Broncos vs Catalans Dragons
The London Broncos welcome the Catalans Dragons to the capital for this round 11 match up that is already looking like a must win game for the home side.
London are now on a run of 4 straight losses and they come into the game on the back of a loss in the cup at Halifax but whilst that wasn’t perhaps too much of a shock after resting a number of players, the pressure is no on them to get back to winning ways and to keep the gap to the bottom of table that they worked so hard in the opening rounds to create.
The Dragons are of course one of the worst travellers and the home side will be looking to take advantage of that but the Dragons will know that a win in this one keeps them in the battle for the top 4 whilst a loss could see them dragged back towards the scrap at the bottom- such is the closeness of the table outside of the top 2.
London have now lost each of their last 4 matches and both of their last 2 at home.
Catalans have won 3 of their last 5 but just 1 of their last 4 on the road.
London make a number of changes after their cup exit with Luke Yates, Rob Butler, Rhys Williams and Dan Hindmarsh all coming in.
The Dragons also make a number of changes with Kenny Edwards, Matty Smith, Lambert Belmas and Arthur Romano all returning but David Mead, Fouad Yaha and Ben Garcia are all injured whilst Braydon Williame is suspended.
This is a hugely difficult match to predict as on paper Catalans have the edge in quality despite missing so many big names but the Dragons are always a shadow of themselves on the road.
This will be a game that the Broncos are targeting for the points and with that in mind we are going to back the home side to pull off a small shock and pick up the points.
