Leeds Rhinos vs Wigan Warriors

The Leeds Rhinos take on the Wigan Warriors at Headingley Stadium in a match that could determine which of these 2 fallen giants spend the rest of the season pushing for the play-offs and which spends the rest of the season battling relegation and the great news for fans is that you can watch all of the action live online via our Super League live streaming partners.

Both teams have been well off of the pace so far this season but both have also started to show signs of life recently but both are also still closer to the relegation battle than they are the play-offs, so the 2 points on offer in this one is a must for both teams.

Leeds’ attack is still looking far below par but they are now starting to show some intensity and determination in defence, which is allowing them to grind out results and at this stage that is enough but up against a Wigan side with lots of quality still in their ranks, they will have to show more going forward.

Leeds have won both of their last 2 matches coming into this one but both have been away from home. At Headingley there form has been much better with 4 wins from their last 5 outings in the league.

Wigan ended a 3 match losing run with a win over Hull KR last time out in a game they won by a single point.

Team News

Leeds make 1 change for this one with Wellington Albert replacing Ashton Golding.

Wigan are without Ben Flower and former Rhinos star Zak Hardaker due to injury.

Whilst Leeds have picked up a couple of wins recently, they have still not impressed and have had to rely on the help form their opponents as much as improvements from themselves although they have showed better game management in those wins.

Up against a Wigan team who may not be anywhere near there best either but who certainly have more threat than Wakefield and London at the moment, that will likely not be enough for Leeds so we are going to back Wigan for the win although with the inconsistent nature of both of these 2 teams, it could easily go either way with the result likely in doubt throughout.
