Leeds Rhinos v Salford Red Devils
The Leeds Rhinos welcome the Salford Red Devils to Headingley Stadium for a match that will have a huge say on things at both ends of the table.
The Rhinos go into the game in 8th place but they are just 4 points ahead of London in last. They do come into the game on the back of a confidence boost after winning against London last week and the gap that that has given them over the Broncos but a big loss in this one could easily see them dragged back into the relegation scrap.
Salford, a team who many expected to be involved in that relegation scrap at the start of the season, are having a fantastic year and they go into the game but they start the round in 4th place and only 2 points behind Wolves in 2nd.
They are also in some of the best form out of any team in the league but with only 4 points between themselves and Catalans in 7th, they need to keep wins going.
Leeds have won 3 of their last 6 matches but those wins have come in their last 4 outings including back to back wins coming into this one.
Salford have won each of their last 6 matches including a win over 2nd placed Warrington last time out.
Salford bring in George Griffin and Josh Wood.
Leeds name the same squad.
With Leeds able to go into this game with some more freedom, it sets it up to be an entertaining one and one that should be high scoring.
That does paly into the hands of Salford as they always excel in a free flowing game so we are going to back them for the win but this is one of those games that could easily go either way.
