Hull KR vs London Broncos

Hull Kingston Rovers welcome the London Broncos to Craven Park for this brought forward round 10 match up from the Rugby Super League in a game that both side swill be looking to get back to winning ways.

After starting the season with a win, both suffered big losses last weekend and that means both will be wanting to take advantage of this brought forward game to give them some breathing room in the relegation battle.

Both sides have to paly an extra round of the cup due to finishing in qualifiers last season but with the season only 2 matches old, both sides shouldn’t have any fitness concerns playing whilst the rest of the sides rest over the World Club Challenge break.

Hull KR defeated Hull FC in round 1 but lost to Warrington in round 2 whilst London defeated Wakefield in round 1 but lost heavily to Salford last week.

Team News

Hull Kingston Rovers name a strong squad for this one with Lee Jewitt and Ryan Lannon set to make their first appearances of the season with Joel Tomkins and Junior Vaivai both also named.

Danny Addy is missing after suffering a knock last time out.

London name a settled squad for this one.

This is a game that could go onto the prove hugely important for both teams as the season goes on as it could separate both sides form a relegation battle and relative comfort but with the match coming so soon in the season, it is difficult to predict the outcome.

Both sides have impressed for periods of game and both have struggled for periods and it is that inconsistently that will likely see both sides feature in the lower half of the table throughout 2019 but it is also that inconsistency that makes them dangerous.

We expect the game to be close throughout and if that does go onto the be the case, it will favour the home side as it is they who have the more experience but perhaps most importantly it is the home side who have the extra quality that will likely prove the difference.
