Hull Kingston Rovers v Catalans Dragons

Hull KR and the Catalans Dragons meet in East Hull for this brought forward game due to the extra round of the Challenge Cup these 2 must play due to finishing in the Qualifiers last season.

Both teams will be hoping this extra game gives them a chance to kick start their season, after both have opened the season with back to back losses.

The step up to Super League is proving to be a tricky one for Hull Kingston Rovers although they have at least looked competitive in both of their matches- although against Wakefield they did look off of the pace for big spells.

The Dragons have struggled badly in both of there matches and even with Saints playing for big parts last week with just 12 men, you still never believed the Dragons had the belief that they thought they could win.

With both teams having just 1 win in their last 5 outings, this is likely to be a scrap but one that could make or break the season for both sides.

Both teams have played 2 games this season and have lost them both.

Team News

Hull Kingston Rovers make 2 changes to their squad with both Andrew Heffernan and James Greenwood missing. New signing Danny Tickle and youngster Will Oakes step cup into the squad.

Catalasns have been hit hard by injuries and suspensions with Sam Moa and Benjamin Jullien (suspended) with Michael McIlorum, Samisoni Langi and Louis Anderson (injured).

Luke Walsh, Paul Aiton and Fouad Yaha come in. Whislt Belmas is a late call up after Benjamin Jullien’s appeal failed.
