Hull Kingston Rovers v Castleford Tigers

Hull KR welcome the Castleford Tigers to East Yorkshire for this round 24 match up from the Super League in a game that will have a big say on both the play-offs and the relegation scrap.

Hull KR start the round joint bottom of the table but with just a 2 point gap between themselves and Huddersfield in 8th, it just highlights the importance of each and every game for the teams in the relegation scrap.

The same can be said for the Tigers as they start the round in 5th place but with Salford just 2 points behind them in 7th, they also need the win to keep a paly-off finish in their own hands.

Form

Hull KR have won just 2 of their last 5 matches whilst Castleford have 3 wins from their last 5.

Team News

Hull KR are without Kane Linnett but both Dean Hadley and Jez Litten are named after joining from Hull FC.

Cas make 2 changes with Cory Aston and Greg Eden replacing Tuoyo Egodo and Paul McShane.

Prediction

This is a tricky game to predict as whist you would normally back Cas, they are look looking a shadow of their usual self’s whilst Hull KR go into this game knowing that it is simply a must win, and with them having some new players amongst there ranks, they will surly take the game to Cas.

Cas’ performance levels are all over the place this season which makes them a difficult team to predict so whilst this is a game that Cas could easily win, we are going to back the highly motivated Rovers for the victory.
