Hull Kingston Rovers vs Warrington Wolves

Hull Kingston Rovers welcome the Warrington Wolves to the KCOM Craven Park for this round 12 match up from the 2019 Super Leaguer season in a game that both sides are looking to bounce back from disappointing defeats on Good Friday.

The Robins were of course thrashed in their derby game at Hull FC whilst the Wolves suffered one of the shocks of the season as they lost at home to Salford but it was the manner of the loss that shocked so much as the Red Devils dominated from start to the finish.

That see’s the Wolves looking over there shoulders heading into this one instead of looking to the top of the table as Saints now have a 4 point lead over them whilst Cas and Hull FC are just 2 points behind them.

For Hull KR things are even more worrying as they go into the round in 9th place but just 2 points off of the foot of the table.

Hull KR have won just 2 of their last 5 matches but those 2 wins have come in there last 2 outings at home.

The Wolves have now lost their last 2 after only losing 1 game this season before that.

Team News

Hull KR add Harry Bardle with Junior Vaivai struggling with a dead leg.

Warrington name a 21 man squad with Sitaleki Akauola and Danny Walker added as cover over a number of fitness doubts.

It will be fascinating to see which team can react to their big losses on Good Friday the best.

Warrington will certainly be the more shocked but the Robins could be the more wounded as they lost there derby.

If either team feel sorry for themselves, it could be another long 80 minutes but we do expect a reaction from both and in that case, it will likely be the extra quality of the Wolves that shines through in the end so we are going to back them for the win.
