Hull FC vs Hull Kingston Rovers

Hull FC take on their city rivals, Hull Kingston Rovers at the KCOM Stadium in the 2nd Hull Derby of the season and if this lives up to the first one, we are all set for a must watch game and that is exactly what you can do live online via our Super League live streaming partners.

Despite there struggles in terms of injuries and with their home form, the Airlie Birds have managed to keep things ticking over and now that they have a number of top players back, they are ready to push on but that can be derailed in the first game of the Easter Weekend.

Hull FC go into the round joint 3rd in the table and looking to keep pace with the top 2 but they will know that the Robins are a decent outfit and have a number of players who can cause teams problems.

Hull KR’s form has been up and down lately but there fans will know all too well that form goes out of the window in these big city derbies and that sets it up be a must watch game.

Form

Hull FC have won 3 of their last 4 matches but just 1 of their 4 home games this season.

Hull KR have won just 2 of their last 5 matches but those 2 did come in their last 2 matches including a narrow win over Leigh in the cup last time out. On the road, they have won just 1 of their last 5.

Team News

Hull FC welcome back the trio of Mickey Paea, Scott Taylor and Masi Matongo with Danny Washbrook, Levy Nzoungou and Jordan Thompson making way.

Hull KR make 4 changes with Shaun Lunt, Mitch Garbutt, Lee Jewitt and Will Oakes coming into their squad. Ryan Shaw, Will Dagger and Harry Bardle drop out.

Prediction

The Hull Derby is always a difficult match to predict and this one is no different especially with the form of these 2 been so up and down this season.

Hull FC have arguably the better squad on paper and they will certainly be boosted by their win in the South of France last time out. When you couple that with a large home backing and in what will likely be a close match throughout, we are going to back the home side to just have the edge.
