Hull FC vs Catalans Dragons
Hull FC take on the Catalans Dragons in the quarter-final of the 2019 Challenge Cup and the great news for fans of both teams is that you can watch all of the action live online via our Challenge Cup live streaming partners.
Hull will go into this game with a point to prove after an embarrassing display at the magic Weekend in a heavy loss to the Huddersfield Giants but they know that they will be in for another battle this week in the cup.
Les Dracs will go into the game full of confidence and with the belief that they can win over on this side of the channel after some strong performances of late including a win at the KCOM Stadium at the start of the month.
Hull FC have won 3 of their last 5 matches but put in their worst performance of the season last time out.
The Dragons have won each of their last 4 matches, a run that started with a victory in Hull against the Black and Whites.
Hull FC make 3 changes to their squad with Bureta Faraimo, Andre Savelio and Jez Litten coming in to replace Bureta Faraimo, Andre Savelio and Jez Litten.
The Dragons make 2 changes with Sam Tomkins and hooker Micky McIlorum returning in place of Lambert Belmas and Benjamin Jullien.
This is a tough match to predict as we simply don’t know which Hull FC team will show up and to a lesser extend, we don’t know which Dragons team will show up.
Hull FC will need to make massive improvements across the board to have any chance of the win but even then, they may not have enough in the bag against a talented Dragons team but they will have to continue their on the road improvements.
Whilst we expect improvement form the home side, we are going to back the Dragons for the win as the Airlie Birds’ confidence will be on a knifes edge whilst the Dragons will surly be fully motivated from the off in the defence of their trophy.
