England vs New Zealand

England welcome the New Zealand Kiwis to Leeds for the third of a 3 match series between the 2 giants of the International game and the great news for fans is that the game can be watched live on BBC TV.

England head into the game full of confidence and despite having already wrapped up a series win, they will be wanting to wrap up a series whitewash in front of a big crowd in Leeds.

Despite winning both games, the result has been in doubt right until the final hooter, so England will not be able to rest on their laurels.

The 2 previous games have been brutal in terms of big hits so it not surprising to see the injuries mount for both sides heading into the third and final test.

England have won 5 of their last 6 matches with their only loss been in the World Cup final against Australia.

New Zealand have won just 1 of their last 6 matches but that 1 win was against Australia.

England have now defeated New Zealand 3 times this season.

Team News

England have had to make a number of changes for this one with George Burgess suspended, Sam Tomkins suffering a broken hand, Daryl Clark suffering a rib injury.

Ritchie Myler comes in for Tomkins, Stefan Ratchford for Daryl Clark whilst Joe Greenwood replaces G Burgess. Reece Lynn has also been called into the squad for England who will once again have James Graham as captain.

Not only has the closeness of both of the first 2 games of the series made this a hugely difficult task of picking a winner but the fact that both teams have key injuries just adds the difficulty.

England will be wanting to impress in front of a huge crowd and to wrap up a whitewash and with the Kiwis thoughts perhaps already on France, that slight edge in motivation could prove the difference in what really is a toss up of a game.
