Catalans Dragons vs Huddersfield Giants
The Catalans Dragons welcome the Huddersfield Giants to the South of France in a game that whilst it may not have much riding on it, it is the perfect chance for the home side to end the season on a high.
It has been a big few days for the Dragons after their appearance at the Camp Nou and the news that they are likely to take a game against Wigan their next season but after a season of ups and downs, the pressure is on them to give their fans something to cheer ahead of a long off season.
For the Giants, they simply have professional pride on the line although the players will be hoping to avoid injury so that they can make the most of the next couple of months off.
Catalans have won just 1 of their last 7 matches in the league but that win did come last time out against Hull FC.
Huddersfield have now lost each of their last 4 matches and both of their last 2 on the road.
Les Dracs make just 2 changes for this dead-rubber with Louis Anderson and Remi Casty replacing Kenny Edwards and Tony Gigot.
Huddersfield bring in both Jermaine McGillvary and centre Leroy Cudjoe who will be wanting to impress, and avoid injury, ahead of the upcoming England v New Zealand series.
With nothing much non the line and with both teams perhaps looking towards the upcoming internationals, this match could either be a scrappy end of season game or a high scoring end to end match.
With both teams better in attack rather than defence, it will more than likely be high scoring and that should play into the hands of the home team, who will also have the added motivation of performing in front of their home fans.
