Widnes Vikings v Warrington Wolves
Widnes welcome their near neighbours Warrington to the Select Security Stadium for this Super League Cheshire Derby and the great news for fans is that the game is available live online.
In this round 12 match up that has been brought forward due to both teams having to play an extra round of the Challenge Cup, it is the away side Warrington with all of the pressure on them.
A big reaction was expected from the Wolves after a disappointing 2017 but so far it has been much of the same, with the Wire opening the new season with back to back losses.
The home side on the other hand had little to no expectations on them heading into 2018 but so far, they have equipped themselves well and have impressed in both of their matches to date.
Even at this early part of the season there is so much more than local pride on the line as Widnes will be looking to get the point son the board their performances have merited whilst Warrington will be simply looking to kick start their season and to stop themselves from becoming a drift in the dreaded bottom 4.
Widnes defeated the Dragons in round 1 before losing to Castleford by a single point last time out.
Warrington lost to Leeds in round 1 but it was their heavy defeat at Huddersfield last weekend that will be the main worry.
Widnes make 3 changes for this match with Danny Craven, MacGraff Leuluai and Brad Walker all coming back into the squad.
Wellington Albert, Charly Runciman and Lloyd White drop out.
Dom Crosby has been named by Warrington and could make his return after a 9 months out with a shoulder issue. Harvey Livett is also named but Tyrone Roberts is out injured.
