Manly Sea Eagles v Wests Tigers

The Sea Eagles are having a fantastic season and have really over delivered on what people’s expectations were off them.

Unfortunately, their city rivals have undelivered on what their quality should be able to deliver but it is also sad that it was expected for a club with so many issues on and off of the field.

That is perfectly summed up by each team’s position in the league where the Sea Eagles are in 4th place and just 4 points behind the Storm in first whilst the Tigers are just 2 points above the last place Knights.

With both teams impacted by Origin, it will be interesting if the Tigers have any resilience to what could be a tough evening for them.


The Sea Eagles have won 4 of their last 5 but that 1 win did come in a disappointing performance against the Panthers last time out.

The Tigers have won just 1 of their last 8 but that win came last time out in a big win at Newcastle.

Team News

Manly name Jake Trbojevic to back up from Origin, Darcy Lussick moves on to the bench with Brad Parker dropping out.

James Tedesco returns from injury and Origin duty so Kevin Naiqama goes onto the wing with Malakai Watene-Zelezniak dropping into reserve. Chris Lawrence returns form injury with Joel Edwards dropping onto the bench and Alex Twal in reserve.


We can only see the one winner in this one and that will be the Sea Eagles who have all of the form and confidence coming into this one.
