Leeds Rhinos v Hull FC
Despite there been just 2 weeks left of the first part of the season and with both of these 2 teams comfortable in the top 8 but both still have lots to play for in league and cup.
With only the top 4 making the play offs both need the win to keep their top 4 hopes going and for Leeds they need to keep their recent winning momentum going but for Hull they need to get back to winning ways.
Wins for top 4 teams against the other teams in the top 4 hunt are also 4 points which adds extra importance and of course there is the small matter of these 2 teams meeting again in a couple of weeks in the Challenge Cup semi-final. That makes this the perfect time for either to put a marker down.
Leeds come into this one with 4 wins from their last 5 matches but after going almost a year undefeated at home, they have now lost 2 of their last 5 at Headingley.
Hull have been streaky for the past few months with a run of 4 wins, followed by 3 losses, then 3 wins followed by losses in their last 3.
Leeds have Jimmy Keinhorst back after 15 matches out injured and he will replace Kallum Watkins who has suspension. Jordan Baldwinson and Jack Ormondroyd are called up after impressing for Fev recently.
Hull Fc make just the 1 change with Jack Downs replacing Brad Fash.
This is a match that either team could win and one that could be a fantastic spectacle for the fans in attendance.
Both are capable of playing championship winning rugby but both can also have off days with Hull FC, it has to be said having more.
The ball handling for Hull Fc has come under the microscope lately and that will have to be improved if they are to come away from Headingley with the points.
A look at the number of the Hull FC players shows that they have the majority of their first 17 out on the park but if they give up as many free sets as they have recently, Leeds simply have the quality to take advantage and that is where we feel the game will be one and lost- in the favour of the home team.
Our Prediction: Leeds Rhinos by 8
