Huddersfield Giants v Leigh Centurions
The importance of this match for the Giants will in many ways be determined the night before as if Warrington win, this will be a msut win match for the Giants where as if Warrington lose, the Giants will be safe in the top 8 and will be able to play with some freedom.
Even with that, both teams will be going all out for the win but for different reasons. Huddersfield have started to build momentum and just at the right time of the season but the Centurions have started to struggle as injuries and suspensions begin to byte.
Huddersfield know that a win will keep alive their slim hopes of pushing on in the Super 8’s but for Leigh, they need to start building form and confidence ahead of their survival bid in the Qualifiers.
Huddersfield have won 3, drawn 1 and lost 1 of their last 5matches including a 40-0 home win last time out against the Vikings.
Leigh on the other hand have just the 1 win from their last 5 and have lost each of their last 3 matches. On the road, they have lost each of their last 4.
Huddersfield make 2 changes with Sebastine Ikahihifo and Sam Woods returning. They replace Gene Ormsby and the illegible Martyn Ridyard.
Leigh are still without Jamie Acton as his suspension starts to get messy.
Unfortunately for Leigh this could be another tough evening for them as they come up against a team with lots of quality but most importantly a Giants team starting to paly with some freedom and confidence.
Leigh will certainly make them work for the win but that is all we can see happening, a home win.
Our Prediction: Huddersfield Giants by 12
