Venue: Craven Park, Hull KR
Date: Saturday 3 November
England go into the game full of confidence after an impressive attacking display against an underperforming Welsh team last weekend.
With a host of big names, such as Sam Tomkins and Tom Briscoe, England will go into the game on Saturday expected another win but they will also know that France will be a big step up and will also be full of confidence after an impressive display in the first game of the tournament.
Both teams have already qualified for the final next weekend so there could be question marks over welter either team will be thinking about that and not picking up injuries but as everybody knows if you go into a game of Rugby League playing anything other than 100% that is when you have the most chance of picking up injuries.
England also have enough players to be able to play 2 strong teams at the moment so the players will know that if anybody under performs they could miss out on the final and with the world cup less than 1 year away , nobody will want to miss out.
As mentioned, France looked good last time out and with the bulk of their team also playing for the Catalan Dragon (who reached the play offs) the week’s rest could have been beneficial for the French team who will know that they have a good chance of pulling of what would be an upset.
England should win but don’t right of an ever improving French team.
Our Prediction: England by 20
